The project is designed to facilitate various business transactions, including purchase agreements, licensing deals, joint ventures, and more. Our objective is to promote the transfer of EU innovations to Canada, and we are committed to exploring innovative avenues to achieve this goal. What is the project’s process to get from a first meeting between partners to a business deal? The process is customized for each partnership but follows key benchmarks. It begins with a non-binding Letter of Intent (LOI) outlining the partnership structure and outputs. The project team then supports commercialization through targeted technical assistance. The final step is formalizing a business arrangement such as a purchase agreement, joint venture, or pilot project. This is followed by an environmental impact assessment of the partnership. How long will the LCBA Canada Project be active? The project is active until March of 2028. However, the facilitation of support for challenges and opportunities is provided on a first come first served basis. Getting involved as soon as possible allows for the greatest chances of success for a fully executed business deal. Who provides funding for the LCBA Canada Project?
