Who are we?
The Low Carbon & Circular Economy Business Action (LCBA) Canada is an EU-funded project designed to accelerate Canada's transition to a low-carbon and sustainable economy. The project connects Canadian businesses with cutting-edge European clean technologies aimed at reducing emissions, boosting efficiency, and driving profitability.
LCBA Canada is led by a consortium of organizations, including ICF,CESO, Technopolis, and Delphi, all working collaboratively to oster collaboration between European companies and Canadian buyers. Through our B2B matchmaking approach, we facilitate seamless connections between European innovators and Canadian businesses in need of high-impact, environmentally friendly solutions. Our goal is to make the process as seamless as possible, offering free technical assistance and commercialisation support to ensure the success of every partnership.
Building on the successful legacies of LCBA LATAM and LCBA Mexico, LCBA Canada expands the reach of European green technologies, creating new opportunities for global collaboration and advancing sustainability on both sides of the Atlantic.
What do we do?
Since its launch in September 2020, LCBA Canada has been dedicated to fostering collaboration between European SMEs and Canadian buyers, and will continue its work until March 2028. Our mission is to accelerate the adoption of green technologies and sustainable solutions in Canada by connecting European innovators with Canadian businesses. We support European SMEs looking to expand into the Canadian market and Canadian buyers seeking cutting-edge European technologies. We offer customized solutions to help both sides connect, collaborate, and drive meaningful, sustainable change in the Canadian market. Our project offers the following services:

What we've accomplished
Since the launch of LCBA Canada, we’ve made significant progress in facilitating collaboration between European SMEs and Canadian buyers, driving the integration of innovative and sustainable technologies. Thanks to our collaborative efforts, we’ve achieved remarkable milestones that highlight the success and impact of the project. In terms of environmental impact, LCBA Canada is enabling significant contributions to emission reduction and circular economy objectives. Our partnerships extend across 14 EU Member States. 12 business deals have been signed to date and many more are expected!
